I've watched Patrick's tutorial several time on setting up excel to datalinq for later use with datalinq keys. I can't get past linking my excel spreadsheet as the template because I can't edit the path (or copy and paste as is stated in tutorial). I can highlight the area I need to replace with the specific path but can not edit. I have tried it on my designer, the company studio, and my own copy of studio at home. Is it as issue with excel or xpression?

Sounds like you are trying to type into the 'Select connection string' window? You need to click OK to copy the connection string template into the ADODB Datalinq Configuration Connection String: Window.

If you're trying to type into the Windows that DOES NOT have the 'text connection' button then you are in the wrong window :)
