We are trying to key graphics over video through the xpression. In another words utilizing the keyer from within the xpression without the use a video switcher. Is there a tab or button that needs to be ticked in order to perform this?

In the Hardware setup, go to the matrox output configuration and change the keying mode to "Internal".

This will put it into a mode where the input video is passed through to the output, and anything you put online in XPression will be keyed overtop of the input video.

You should also change the Reference to lock onto SDI Input 1. When using internal keying mode, you should not be referenced to an external reference, it should be referenced to the Input 1 video.
