Yes, you can use the Clock Timer widget to do that.

Hi Brian, our customer is using now a Xpression CG and they created a clock using the timer widget but... the clock doesn´t refresh... it is only a fixed clock and it never update seconds, minutes, etc.

could you please tell us if with Xpression CG with a carbonite we will be able to have a clock (time) working?

    thanks a lot in advance!

If they are using an SDI output from Prime into the carbonite then it will update. If they are using the RossLinq output to send still images into the carbonite media stores, then that is for stills only and it will not run the clock.

thanks Brian, so if they are using Spression CG they only will be able to use still imagenes, always only 2D works... isn´t it?

Sorry, I don't know what you are referring to when you say "XPression CG". You need to be clear about whether they are using SDI video, or the RossLinq interface. XPression Prime using SDI video will be able to use a clock. XPression Designer with RossLinq will only be stills.

If you need additional help I suggest calling the Ross Video Tech Support line and they can talk you through this over the phone.
