Hello,

I am being testing out this new Transition Logic. It's great to be able to set up smart transitions.

I thought it was all working fine and set up my different transitions in different scene directors like the tutorial says. The only problem I have right now is that my Effect Out is not workiing when I am trying to animate out a lowerthird. The Transition State goes from transitioning to online but doesn't animate off at all when hitting take again.

Ideas on how to fix this? I think I've tried it all.

(There should also be a right click menu option for take offline as well, in addition to the MINUS key)

Try hitting the minus key (-) on the number pad. That should take the scene offline and use the Effect Out set up in the transition logic tab. The TAKE key is used to resume pauses on the main scene director. In the past many people would put a pause on the main scene director followed by the effect out (and you can still do that), but it doesnt use the transition logic logic in that case.

Think of the situation where you have a full page graphic with a number of bullets to animate (say 5).. If after 3 bullets you decide you want to lose the graphic with the transition out, you wouldn't be able to hit ENTER as that would resume the next bullet instead.. So the MINUS key will take the graphic offair using the out transition.

Do either of you know if you can have more than 2 pauses or events on a single animation controller. From what I'm seeing it seems to only respect one.

Please create a new post...
You can put all pauses you need in a single track, or many.
