Is there an Xpression codec available for Mac? I've got some .avi videos in a project that I need to use in After Effects, but can't open them.

I'm pretty sure the codec is Windows only, as everything else they make software-wise is. Best option is to either get those videos rendered out in a more universal codec from whomever made them to begin with.

Whoever exports from XPression needs to select a different codec. There's heaps to choose from in there, including Apple animation, which I use to get things out of XPression with transparency.

Install Quicktime on the XPression machine and then export to something like Quicktime animation to use on Mac. There's no dmg for mac.
