I'm trying to transition our live bug off screen. I've changed the transition in/out in xpression to the desired effect and can get it to transition in, but I can't get it to transition out with the desired effect.

Hey cfillingham, are you using transition logic?

It sounds like you are using the transition in/out in the take item menu. In the sequencer with the scene on line if you right click the scene and "take off line" it should animate off. Or hit the minus (-) key on the 10 key pad. I can't think of anything else that would cause it to just animate in and not out unless the out transition isn't actually set. You set it separately.

I'm using a graphic in an always loaded folder connected to a custom control. The transition works with the CC bringing the graphic in, but not transitioning out. I have set the in and out transitions separately.
    Thanks for the help.

Do you have the transitions built into your scene director? and hitting the CC a second time releases a pause to play through the transition out?

If you have built the in and out seperately it sounds like you are intending to use transition logic. What command are you send via Ross talk to take the graphic off air? If it's a clear buffer or clear layer you're not going to see the transition out. You have to fire something that will trigger it to play offline rather than clear.

If you build the transition in and transition out in the same scene director you can put a pause between in and out, then send the same RossTalk command or a continue (I think) and it will animate off.
