We are running into an issue while spell-checking. We can't update XPression's dictionary for names of people or places that we use regularly. For example, right outside of Rockford, IL is the small town of Rochelle. Near Rochelle is Fairdale, that was recently hit by a tornado. Both Rochelle and Fairdale don't pass spell check.

Rauner (e.g., IL Gov. Bruce Rauner) is another. We'd like to be able to update the dictionary to add words that we use regularly via MOS Gateway in iNews. Any ideas?

Hi Dan,

This isn't an officially supported method by Ross Video; but you could give this a try if you are inclined.. The dictionary files in the plugin are standard .OXT dictionaries as used by OpenOffice.. If you rename it to .ZIP you can open it up and find the en_US.dic file which is essentially a text file word list. Add your words to the very end of the file (1 per line) and on the first line of the file you will find a number representing the total number of words in the list. Make sure to increase that number by the number of words you add; then pack the zip file back up and rename back to .OXT. You would need to copy this file to all your plugin machines.
