I'm trying to install a new font across our Xpression network that has a number of designer Xpressions, a couple of control rooms and uses the iNews MOS to modify the keys. I am trying it out small over our test connection but am losing the font at iNews. I'm not sure if I'm missing a piece or why I don't see it in the iNews plug in.
My test consists of
Designer Xpression "“ font installed and seen in the scene when the project is called up. Works beautifully.
Xpression MOS/Preview Engine "“ font installed
iNews MOS Engine "“ font installed
iNews client "“ installed but the font is not coming up in the plug in. It displays a default font.
Xpression Studio machine "“ font installed and seen in the scene when the project is called up locally
Xpression remote sequencer "“ same machine as Xpression studio and shows the same image as iNews client which does not contain the font.
Do you know what I am missing? We did not restart the Xpression MOS Engines after installing the font as they are currently on-air. Do they need to restarted for it to take effect?
If I make a change to the letters in the scene, it updates in the remote sequencer so it is reading the information. iNews can see the template and changes if I publish so it is reading the project server.
Can anyone think of a reason why this font isn't displaying or where else it needs to be installed?
Just to clarify, I'm installing a new windows font ie helvetica, veranda, new times roman
