I noticed that Xpressions prime has several framebuffers that can be assigned to other outputs/graphics cards. So my question is how many video outputs can Xpression support is it upgradable by adding compatible graphics/video cards?

XPression Prime is limited to one fill/key output on a single output card. Adding more cards won't increase the outputs. There are, however, other ways to get output from Prime:
1. Use an HDMI output from your graphics card (with appropriate HDMI to SDI converter) and run put a virtual frame buffer window on that (fill only, no key)
2. Use RossLink outputs for stills to your switcher's media stores (these are fill and key)
