    I know it seems like an easy one, but I need to export a scene as a JPG and haven't figured it out yet.
    I tried exporting package but of course that winds up as an Xpression file only.

    You can export take items, not scenes. But you'll get the result you want anyway.
    Sequencer > Right Click Take (you can multi-select) > Export Take Item To > Images

    I export a capture of my scenes this way. Might be a more straight forward solution. All you gotta do is change the file type from .tga to .jpg before you save it down!
