Hi guys, I am beginner on Xpression. There are not to much tutorial on ross web site.
I watched Transition Logic tutorial video on ross web site, but couldn't understand well how it works :(

I want to create map for elections.I want make animation for each citys grows up and go back its own place.
I can do simple animation in scene director.but the questions are:
-what is difference Scene Director & Scene Directors? is it master or what.
-when I create a animation in new scene director I dosent work,because it looks in first Scene Director! when create in this main scene director it works. Is there any option to choose between scene directors?
- How I can use one template for all citys (81 cities)
-How I can continues all cites when I put all in sequencer,I mean first city come with effect ,pause and g back, after that when I call second or other city it should come again with animation and go on.

There are several solutions. For example.
You can make your own animation controller for each, put on the next track. And create a text layer, the value of which will activate the desired animation track. Or activate the animation controller.

for calling animation track or animation controller ?
I saw a tutorial for calling text from excel with data linq but how about a call a an animation? do I have to use visual logic?
if you could explain for basics like me :)

another question.I do excel sheet with city names and results.but I did in column city names ,after results.
in tutorial for data linq the guy make opposite. He made everything in row and going...
Do I havte do same?
I prefer city names top to bottom because 81 city for editing easy.

But why it dosent update my graphics content , connected to excel file while on air ?

Why? Definitely can not be said. Is the link correct? There are several ways to connect a data file. Different server settings. After changing the data in the table, you need to save the file.
Is there any license for Datalink on the air server?

I asked support service and still waiting.i have data link license but from the beginning its make me angy:mad:
I created map and connect data to an xlsx file.
when open studio first time I can see updated datas. but when I change data I dosent update.and when I tried add new dataling sources to server I cant!
the place for add excel file is not editable.

I tried add datafile excel. When I change data in file with basic setting - source in project change when I recall scene. And I can open and edit excel file.

any way I tried both.i do witth excel template also.it read excel but then not update result.and second problem: I use Datalink Keys for scene. When I call 81 city in sequencer.because other way I have create 81 different template.
