The XPression team from Ross Video is proud to release the latest version of the fastest selling real-time motion graphics engine in the industry today. XPression 8.5 is jam-packed with impressive features, including a
64-bit edition of XPression Prime, XPression BlueBox and XPression Studio. Included with the XPression 8.5 upgrade is the ability to
import Cinema4D scenes, and a new
Global Search Tool for finding almost anything in the active project.
Numerous additions to XPression's powerful data integration option, DataLinq™ also fulfill requirements for data-driven graphics ranging
from financial data to horse racing results. There is now an option to
browse to an ADODB source to complete the DataLinq™ Connection String.
XPression MOS users benefit from improvements ranging from
larger thumbnail options in the browse section to an
HTML5 XPression MOS plug-in for working with Newsroom Computer Systems with HTML5 and Cross-platform browser interfaces. Configurating facilities with multiple control rooms using XPression under MOS control has just gotten easier and more secure with the new
Configuration Groups settings in the XPression Gateway.
Playout enhancements include the ability to
change the speed of Roll/Crawl groups that are already on air using the keyboard,
Locking a Take ID in a Layer, and automatically taking a
Sequence Group to Frame Buffer Outputs upon project load.
The XPression 8.5 installation may also require updates to the Matrox drivers used to maximize the capabilities of the XPression 8.5 software and feature set. Those can also be acquired from the Tech Support team, for customers with active support contracts.
