  • 1.  Video card ???

    Which video card was used in the original 2 channel Xpression CG system (circa 2010 / early 2011) ? Was it the Matrox card?

    This unit is housed in the original rack frame / chassis.

    We are having a problem with full frame graphics not filling the entire screen area. Working in 1920 X 1080 resolution, and paired with a Carbonite switcher.

    The video card would have been a NVIDIA 285, 470 or 580.
    The framebuffer card would have been a Matrox XMIO2.

    Are your full frame graphics offset by a single line at the top or bottom?

    If this is the issue than it is due to a mistiming between the switcher and XPression and can be adjusted

    XPression > Edit > Hardware Setup > Matrox > Configure > Board > Genlock > Timing Offset

    If using Black burst: Vertical to -2. Horizontal 8000ns - 37000ns.

    If using Trilevel: Vertical to 1124. Horizontal to 0.

    Or those values don't work (that may not, they are basically ballpark figures) time the XPression output with house reference using a waveform monitor.
