    Hello ROSS,

I am an Xpression 5.7 Designer user at home. In my PC I had an Nvidia GTX470 and Xpression 5.7 was just OK.

I now upgraded to Nvidia GTX980 and Xpression Designer complains "Error initializing 3D subsystem (Failure: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)". When I try to load an object like quad, etc, I get the message "Exception class: EAccessViolation. Access violation at address 009CBDC1 in module 'Xpression.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

I realize ROSS doesnt officially support this card but I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere someone was aware of.... I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.

    Thank you

There should be no problem using that card. Did you upgrade to the latest Nvidia driver?

Try going into the Preferences menu, and set the "Hardware Renderer" to NONE, then restart XPression software, then go back into the preferences and select the Nvidia board in the hardware render and restart XPression again.

Those steps did the trick for me!

    Back in business!

    Thank you Brian.
