    Hi all,

Right now we are creating a new intro in our system and to do that I have multiple quads that hold different video materials. Currently we have two layers that are just pure video, but we are trying to time up and animate a banner with some text in between these two video layers. The problem being is we have no reference to the video materials, as far as time goes, to sink up our text. Would we be better off rendering these all out in After Effects as one cohesive intro and just bring it in as one video material in one quad? Or, would we be able to do what I explained earlier? Any tips are helpful.

It sounds like you are playing the video materials using the Auto Start / Free running properties in the material itself.

Did you know you don't need to turn those on, and instead you can drag the material onto the track of the scene director? This will allow you to be able scrub the scene director and the video will play, and you can add animation controllers alongside it on the scene director with the keyframes for your text.
