Yes, you could install the XPression Clip Store onto the BlackStorm and play the clips back on the XPression Clips system. However if this connection is over the main network it could cause the video to stutter during high traffic or any kind of network interruption. To avoid that you could connect the BlackStorm NIC to the second NIC of XPression, and then your clip playback wouldn't be affected by the main network traffic.
However, the XPression Clip Store will NOT use the same clips as the BlackStorm database, you would end up with two SEPARATE clip databases on the BlackStorm (one for BlackStorm and one for XPression). It's not possible to have XPression and BlackStorm share a database.
Video file in the XPression Clips database need to be the in the XPression Codec as AVI files. You can convert the video files in the BlackStorm database to the XPression Codec using the XPression Video Coder or the XPression Incoder.
