I have several scenes that have a background with an image that sits over the background. The image over the background is published so that the producers who use ENPS can change the image as they need to. The problem is that the background shows up fine, but the published image doesn't show in the preview window in the ENPS plugin. It will play out from the Xpression just fine, with the replaced image and everything.

We are currently using a ROSS MOS server with Bluebox as the preview engine and the Xpression with Studio 5 as the playout engine.

Any idea what could be causing this?

The problem seems limited to published images only. All unpublished images in all other scenes show up just fine.

If the files are on a mapped network drive, make sure the Preview Engine has the same network drive mapped as the same drive letter and path.

Check the image and the background are not at the same Z location. Sometimes if they are they will render in one order in preview but may play back in a different order on the output. The order will be somewhat random.
