    Hey All:

Has anyone experienced an interlace-looking flicker on dissolve transitions running in 1080p/23.976? We've tried it on two machines with different software versions (7.0 3836 and 8.0 4099) and still getting the issue.

The xpression signal is not running through any gear before it gets to the destination. The issue is visible on both channels (so, likely not a bad cable). It looks like the interlacing is in the key signal.

We ran a test using non-psf formats and the flicker goes away...the project is native 1080p/23.976. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

    CJ

Do you have a sample project that has this issue?
    All I/O in 1080p/23.976?

I'm not seeing any issue here.. I tried both 1080psf23.976 and also 1080p23.976. I find motion is very choppy in these formats as we are used to seeing 60 fields per second (or 60 frames per second) and these formats have less than half that number, so everything is kinda choppy; but I see no interlacing issues at all.
Have you tried running your video straight into an SDI monitor (not going through any switchers, etc)?

Can you share a project and show us a video of what interlacing artifacts you see?
