  • 1.  XPression embedded Audio AES on AJA Corvid 88

    Hi,

    we had a Problem with embedded AES output. Video is running great, but when we try to output embedded AES, no sound is coming out of the system. As we now researched, it seems that the corvid 88 can only output 24bit sound, but XPression can't handle this format. Our elder systems with AJA Xena , Kona or Matrox x.mio cards work fine with embedded AES (16bit 48kHz). Is there a solution?

    What AJA driver version and XPression version are you using?
    Embedded audio should work exactly the same on the Corvid88 card with XPression as the other cards you have mentioned.

    We are running the Xpression Version 8.2 build 4446 with AJA driver 12.5.1.330

    We also tried XPression Version 6.5 with the same result. No embedded audio. I honestly have no clue about this issue.

    Problem solved. The issue was Hardware related and has nothing to do with XPression.
