A little backstory,
I'm an integrator/operator on a show that used XP7.0 for the last 20 weeks or so, we just upgraded to XP V8.5 (build 4571) and with it, Datalinq 8.5.
Our show uses Excel datalinq (Adodb source, XLSX, V12, spreadsheet is an XLSM). In the past we had the refresh rate of the Datalinq manager set at 0 seconds (manual refresh) so that we could save the spreadsheet and have that data "on deck" and not changing any graphics we currently had on the air.
However, with the exact same settings we had in Datalinq 7.0, Datalinq 8.5 crashes silently in the background after a few seconds after a successful data pull. IF I leave it set to 1 second AND I do not minimize datalinq to the tray, it will not crash. Otherwise it crashes almost immediately.
Any thoughts on what is causing this behavior? I know I can just set it to one second and uncheck live update on every take item, but we have 30 or so projects with about 200 take items each, so looking to fix this behavior at the root of the problem. Thanks!!
