Is there a way to use a database (access) to populate the sides of a cube with images? I can get the database working for text fields but not materials...

    Go under material>edit...

Here are the datalinq for material...

In your case, create a material for each face of your cube, apply them, and link each one with datalinq...

I'm trying to add a new Datalinq Server.. I select ADD NEW, then #1 ADODB Datalinq Source.. select template.. pull down menu to Access (ODBC).. I hit OK.. then what?? I replaced the info within the brackets but keep getting Data Source name not found and no default driver specified.. so i'm entering the info. incorrectly. Do you have a photo of what your ADODB Datalinq Config. window looks like?
