    Is there an APP or some way of setting up a folder that once it see's a new video file it automatically converts it to Xpression AVI?

    Chris unfortunately there is not.

    There is the video coder app which you are probably familiar with and there is also a standalone codec installer for windows. once installed you will be able to export video from programs like After Effects directly to the XPression codec and skip the video coder step.

    Hi Chris,

    If you are owning a Premire Pro license, then you might probably use Adobe Media Encoder. This works well if the source files already have the desired channel setup (24 or 32 bit respectively), and thus you don't have to merge fill + key files. But if you have to there is no way around XPression Video Coder (or try for the right programmer as you suggested ;-))
