I have made a scene for Pics and I put a looping BG on the scene and also a Drop Shadow onto the "Pic" quad....I set the scene to dissolve in at 10 frames. But whenever I dissolve between 2 of the pics the dissolve is very choppy and not smooth. I have published the material on the Pic so that I can import 50 Pics for a pilot that we are shooting. Is the drop shadow and the looping background too much for one scene?

I took off the background and the dissolves still look choppy?? Why does the Drop Shadow effect make the transitions choppy?

Mr. Henderson.. I assume in the sequence side you have the default effect 10 frame dissolve for both on and off. Make the effect a cut for the off and it gives you your required dissolve effect but it doesn't stutter. That's been my work around for this exact scenario.

Chris, if the above suggestion doesn't work please provide a copy/sample of the scene that has the issue.
