Hi guys,

I've asked this question also to techsupport but maybe somebody here on the forum also knows the answer.

I'm using a Studio SCE (Single Channel Edition).

For a project in a few days I need to use a live input and use that in my scene.

Now as far as I've been told, you need to define a second capturecard as an input inside XPression in order for this to work.

The problem is now that I'm having a conflict with one of my capture cards in my pc which is an older version of the card which I'm using as an output. I've already spent 8 hours trying to get this card to work and meanwhile cursing the damn thing.

Right now I've come to the stage that I'm considering of buying a new card of the same type of the one which is already in the system. But before I go and spend a lot of money I would like to know for sure that this is supported in the SCE-version of XPression.

So when you use the XPression SCE-version you are limited to only 1 outputcard but can you also add an second card as an input?

Studio SCE will limit you to one output and one input (Defined here)

The card you are using supports both video in and video out. If the card is configured with one of its SDI BNCs to be a video input (I beleve its configed in the AJA Router application) it should appear as a video input in the XPression hardware setup.

That said, you are correct, it is possible to add a second card and use it as an input.
