A new Font Manager allows users to organize, rename and even renumber Fonts in your XPression projects. Additional Datalinq source types and improvements in some on-line Datalinq input sources make the best tool in data-driven graphics even more powerful. Importing layered Photoshop files allows designers to provide direct input to the XPression design process without leaving their own native tools. These high efficiency tools make XPression even easier to use than ever before.
For MOS users, the improvements in the XPression MOS plug-in continue to empower the journalist to tell stories with a high impact. XPression Scene Designers can enable character count limits to protect the integrity of the graphic design by setting maximum character counts as well as a warning limit when the maximum count is being approached.
Now add the updated XPression Remote Sequencer gives playout operators the ability to modify MOS playlists by updating text, media assets or even the play order of graphics. Random access has always been a strength of the XPression Remote Sequencer, and now operators can continue working in a linear playlist or work in a column per channel workflow.
