New user here. I am experiencing significant lag when I update my datalinq key value in the layout editor.

I think I'm using a modest amount of visual logic over a few tabs, and only small number of objects.

What are common sources of lag in the editor/visual logic, where should I be looking? Are there any common mistakes that might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I solved the problem, but I'm going to leave a note if anyone else experiences this.

Turns out our Xpression machine was disconnected from its outputs and reconnecting it solved the lag issues.

I'm having a lag problem too. Do you mean the actual physical cables from the rack unit were not connected?

That's not my issue. NGSS query time seems longer than it should be.

I discovered another (perhaps larger) contributing factor later today though. I found that moving the excel file that populates my datalinq server to a local drive really sped things up.
