Hello,

i have a material connected to inception rss datalink field. i increment the item using datalink keys.

It works fine with images but videos wont load nor play.

If the video is copied locally and loaded manually into xpression the video plays.

Also, i tried to play the datalinked video using script but it does not work.

I'm using xpression 6.5.

What file type is the video files in Inception? If they are .mp4 or .mov then you will need to install the QuickTime Codec.

I'm not sure if video is completely supported yet thru inception, but I do remember seeing that their next version will have file links to videos that are already converted into the XPression Video Codec.

i'm using both mp4 and avi (xpression codec) video files.

Did you manage to play videos selected by inception ?

Yes this feature was implemented in XPression 8.5 of XPression, you can set datalinq for a quad and have it check for downloadable assets.
