Tonight I did a last-minute gig with a bunch of lower thirds, all from a single template for different music acts. I set up the in/out on our new Stream Deck using the RossTalk and RossTalk XPression plugins (which are awesome btw), but I ran into a small issue and I'm wondering if there's a way around it?
I quickly threw the names of the groups in Excel and set up a %relid% for the acts and was just prepared to give the TD the StreamDeck to bring them in and out, but while it's possible to use sequence in for the take/layer, I had to make an individual sequence out button for EVERY graphic.
It wasn't until I got home that I thought, I wonder if I can simply use the group ID for the sequence out and it will run the out animation for whatever is active in that group? Does anyone know if this would have worked, or if there's another way to make a single "remove any lower third" button without specifying each take ID?
I figured I'd post here in case anyone's looking at the forum over the weekend since I won't be back in front of the system until Tuesday or Wednesday at this point. Thanks all!
