Is there a way to create a hotkey which would turn datalinqs to static text? And if so does anyone have the script to accomplish

Sequencer. Basically I have a baseball pitcher graphic which is datalinqed. But when he comes out of the game I make a copy of the graphic and need to static all the fields so it doesn't change when the new pitcher comes in. It is a function I can do using mouse but trying to make it quicker with a single keystroke.

Bill,  I believe I just figured this out today. Not sure if it's exactly the same as what you use case needs.  I just did it with the F8 key using the "Keyboard/GPI Mapping..." under the edit menu.  Under "Local Shortcuts (requires component to have focus)" function section ->Sequencer-."Change Datalinqs to Text".  Then in the Shortcut details tab under the Function section, I just assigned F8 as my shortcut by hitting Set "F8".  You could use any key I would assume.  It has been working really well for me today being able to change groups of Take ID items to Static with one press.
