So, I've been working on a way for us to keep CGs in throughout a story for News, and I don't have Transition Logic available on v.5.7 ...

I've built scenes on different layers to accomplish this, but I keep crashing my Studio box. It seems to only crash after I've reloaded the project. After it crashes and I restart the program, it seems to run fine.

I thought maybe it was a resource issue, because I had two animations on each scene, with a third on a 'live bug' scene, and I essentially had the same two animation running three times on different layers. I changed one of the animations to a static image, and my memory monitor doesn't go above 40%, so I don't think that's it.

I was looking at the Live Log and I get a lot of "cache miss for frame..." messages, so I don't know if this is the problem or not.

I've uploaded the scenes, independent of the rest of my project, and I'm hoping someone can take a look and see if you see anything wrong with any of my visual logic or scripting.

    Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you are playing back too many videos in one of your scenes.
Even if an object a video is on is set to not be visible, the video will still load in the cache.
You also need to avoid using too many full frame videos (1920x1080 or 1280x720), If you take a full frame video and scale it down in XPression to, for example, 200x200 it still uses the resources of a full fame video (lots!). So make sure your videos are cropped at accurate resolutions.

But it would be good to contact techsupport@rossvideo.com and upload your full project so we can take a look at. It's unlikely the project is corrupt - something in your project is just causing an issue.
