I've got a weird thing happening, maybe someone can help.

I modified a scene I had previously built, and now the text disappears if I put a static image in it. It's there with no image, and it's there with an animated image, but with static images it disappears.

It doesn't make any sense to me.

When I do this through the XPression Designer and put a Material Face on my "Image" layer, i works with a static image and animation.

I need to test this out of the Studio, since it defaults to a channel on our Blue Box.

Hi David,

This issue seems to occur anytime you use an image that doesn't have an alpha channel (such as a JPG). Since it doesn't have an alpha channel it is messing with the render order. If you change the alpha of the Image object to 99.9% instead of 100% that will force it to be treated like it does have an alpha and the render order should be correct.

Let me know if that resolves your issue.

I've never had that problem before, and we almost exclusively use .png's, which stores alpha channel info.

I'll try changing it and see what happens and get back to you.
