Hi, I'm trying to recall one scene within another scene. I basically want to call up a scene with our station logo bug and then have that scene call up another scene that just has the current time and temp running and have them merged. The reason for separate scenes is that if for some reason the time and temp is inaccurate I want to be able to just remove that quickly from on air without removing our logo.

The easiest way I can see to do this is to have your Time/temp on line, but the default scene director does nothing. Then from the timeline of the logo bug, add a "Scene Director Trigger" and trigger the "IN" scene director(use transition logic) of the TimeTemp scene. The only downside to this is the TimeTemp scene must be on line. You can put the scene trigger anywhere on the timeline inside your logo animation scene.

Thanks, not sure that way will work for us. I need to be able to put my Logo Scene online and have it call up the other scene on top of the Logo Scene.

Easy, just put the Time/Temp on layer above your Logo scene. We use it quite a bit.

I think the problem would still be that I will never want to remove the Logo Scene only the Time Temp Scene. I'll have to play around with it. Thanks!

I also don't want to put the Time and Temp scene on air, I want the Logo Scene to put it on air. Not sure if that is even possible or makes sense

I understand. What you would do is have the scene on line, but nothing has animated on. To trigger another scene you have to have that scene on line to trigger it.

there might be some scripting you could do to take a scene on line, but I haven't dived into that.

Just to be clear, your method is working perfect. I have the Time Temp "IN" set to zero opacity so when I put it online nothing is visible and as soon as I put my Logo Scene online it triggers the "IN" animation and the Time and Temp Appear. Just didn't want to constantly have to have producers add 2 scenes to the beginning of each news block but at least I know that would work. Again, I appreciate your time on this.
