  • 1.  Anyone build a baseball scoreboard template???

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had scripting to reveal extra innings in a baseball scoreboard they could share?  I'm going to start building a linescore graphic that shows each inning and the number of runs scored in that inning.  I'd like the scoreboard to start sliding left to reveal new innings when we get to 10/11/12th/etc.. innings and cut off 1st/2nd/3rd/etc...  Always looking to not have to reinvent the wheel.

    Thanks,

    Erik

What kind of scoreboard controller will you be using to provide the data?  There's a setting in the Daktronics Allsport 5000, for instance, that will actually do this for you.  It's certainly not a clean, animated "slide", per say, but it's certainly a simpler method of only showing 9 or 10 innings at any given point, regardless of how many have actually been played.

It will be a Dak Controller....Allsport CG data.  I don't know if it is the 5000.  That's good to know about the automated output.  How do you build the Xpression connection then?  Does it handle the inning number as data also so you don't use static inning numbers?

Yep...Allsport CG data should be the same as I'm describing.  In the Datalinq connection for Dak Baseball data, you'll find "Inning Label #1" thru "Inning Label #12".  Same with home/visitor score.  They don't necessarily correspond to the actual inning number, as the Dak controller automatically makes the shift happen.  I believe there's a setting in the Allsport to determine what inning to start the shift.
