Is there any documentation on Scripting and Transition Logic for xpression? I have a number of samples that I am working from but would like more info. Has anyone had much success with the Transition Logic?

    Richie,

Maybe you can post what you are trying to do and the sample code. It can then be reviewed by some of our trainers, freelancers and the XPN community,

Have not started on anything yet. I wanted to read up on the subject before I jumped in. Really helps the creativity if you know what you can and can not do within a program.

I agree. Ross should have some sample scripts available. Also, a list of XPression commands for scripting would be useful.

    David/Richie,

Some sample scripts are available from techsupport@rossvideo.com. Please let us know what type of functionality you are trying to achieve.

All of the scripting methods and dimensions available to XPression can be found in the XPression SDK help file. This is found under 'Start > All Programs > XPression Studio/Designer > Help > XPression SDK Help.

Please keep in mind that tech support can supply you with sample scripts and documentation, but can only supply minimal support for re-writing or creating scripts.

Are you able to script with Version 3.5 build 1792.

Also I am working in XPression Prime.

I have a metadata tab in my object inspector window, is this where i put in the script?

With the Prime "Studio Functionality" upgrade, .net scripting is added. See your Ross representative for pricing, if you are interested.
