Has there been a change made in the way XPression handles audio? I recently rendered video out of After Effects using the XPression Codec, and inadvertently exported audio. When I got it into XPression and replaced the video on an existing scene, my audio started to echo. Removing the audio track solved the problem, but I was under the impression that the audio could not be "embedded" with the video track, and that the audio had to be laid down separately within XPression.

Did I miss this change somewhere?

    Running Xpression v5.5 build 2722

    Thanks!

XPression has always had the ability to have the audio embedded in the video..

There are several reasons why people prefer to lay down a WAV file instead though:

    1) to have music trail off for several minutes after the video clip ends without needing to render a 5 minute long video..

    2) you can't adjust the audio levels of the embedded audio like you could with a WAV file.
