I'm having an issue with doing a frame grab from live input source.  The jpg thumbnail looks correct from within Xpression, but when I open the jpg on Windows preview the colors are all off.   Any idea why?

What version and build of XPression?

What is the input video format?

Are you using the Input Grabber or the Record Client to capture the live input? (reccommend using the Record Client if you have it)

If you use the record client you should be able to capture the frame as TGA or PNG, do those files have the same issue?

    v8.5 build 4567

Input 59.94i via Graphite.   Video formats from switcher / Xpression match.

    Using the Record Client.

I was wrong when I said JPG, I was grabbing PNG.  I just tried TGA and got same result.

It looks like it's recording an alpha channel in the grab and that's causing the problem.  The only place the grab looks correct is the thumbnail within Record Client.  Once "Sent to Clipstore" it comes out with all dark areas looking white, and I see an alpha channel associated to it in the Clip Browser.

Can you verify that you are grabbing as RGBA (32bit)

I've tried both RGBA 32bit and RGB 24bit and get the same result.   Both capture an alpha channel and picture is obscured.
