  • 1.  Refreshing material when scenes are played

    Hello all,

    Does anyone know any way to refresh each material when scenes are played?
    When we recall Datalinqed object stacked on material, we need to refresh each scene by selecting them through in the sequence mode as an operation.
    But sometimes we may forget to do this and be played wrong clips, so we would like to avoid it.

    If you have any idea, command, knowledge or way to solve, please give us your help.

    Could you please explain a bit more?

    You have a Quad with a Datalinq assigned to it to show a video or a picture?

    How is the Datalinq being used? For example, is the Datalinq linked to a fixed cell in Excel, and the content in that Excel is being changed, or are you using a Datalinq-key which is being updated in the sequencer and which makes the Datalinq point to another cell in Excel.

    It doesn't matter if it's excel or not, I just need to know where the new data is coming from.

    Hello Kenneth,

    We have a background object with material and that material is linked to a fixed cell in Excel via Datalinq.
    We assign videos by using this.

    We need to refresh them manually before the event will start, but there are more than 20 links(scenes) so we want to updates them at once so that we can see thumbnails to check.

    Here's a screenshot to make it clear.
