    Hello guys,

Does anybody know where I could find a good CII-tutorial?

A client of mine wants to automate his XPression using CII but I haven't worked with it before so I'm looking for a good tutorial.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Kenneth,

Do you have a copy of the Ross XPression CII User Guide?

    You can download it here:

    CII User Guide

We have also included the X/UPNEXT (build 2248) and CII U/ command (build 1793). Let me know if you need information about those two commands.

Thanks Garner for the User Guide.

Is there a way I can test the CII gateway locally with commands or do I need a special tool to generate these commands?

it has been sometime since I sent CII commands manually but I believe that both HyperTerminal and Docklight Scripting can be used to send CII commands.

    Garner -

Any chance you could re-host the CII User Guide? Or perhaps just send it my way on Monday morning. I've been wanting to dive into that a bit since you checked it and said "we were barely scratching what it could do." Makes me want to find away to take advantage of it. :)

New to this support group; if you could host that CII User guide again, that would be great. Thx!

For those who don't know about it, the CII document is actually included with the CII Gateway software. You'll find it in the Start Menu under XPression CII Gateway -> Help ->XPression CII Gateway.PDF.

Without the gateway software you won't be able to send any CII commands to XPression.
