Is there some information on the basics of using Bounding Boxes? I don't really see much on how to use them, is there a specific video this is touched on in that I haven't seen? Thanks!

The Bounding Box is just a way to get height/width information from eg. text objects.

You can get the bounding box size either with or without scale.

Jens is correct, a boundingbox will indeed display the size being taken in by an object. For example the size of a textbox with a specific text in it, or the size of a quad or cube for example.

However a word of warning because the boundingbox does not work to get the size of a group unfortunately.
