Hello.  I've been combing through the posts regarding masking crawls and found different solutions, but not one that applies to what I'm trying to do.  I have a crawl that I would like to apply a feathered mask to the right-side of the crawl.  A ticker bar, mask in a layer group, and a separate header is on the parent scene of a scene group.  Child groups have render modes set to normal and and text that renders are also set to normal.  When the crawl outputs the mask is being ignored.  I've tried different Z positions within the parent & child scenes with no luck.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you.

Are you placing your mask, and everything you want affected in the same layer group? That is the only way I know of to use masks. I didn't download your project because I am on the road right now.

Turns out it was how I was handling the rendering of the scene.  I usually set my scenes to Manual rendering, but for crawls that used scene groups, I had to switch it to Automatic.  Once I did that the mask started to work.
