Making a new post about this, as the only other post I can find about this is 5 years old, with absolutley no answers.

Now, I myself has run into this a couple of times, and now a student at our college as well.
The model and/or path had to be changed a little...
So, with textures, materials, fonts, etc, things can be relinked, replaced and so on.
Which is great! Seeing as you don't have to redo visual logic and/or other things that are linked to the object with that material/texture/image/video.
However, boy you are screwed if you had alot of work put into a 3D object that you needed to change.
The error message is:
Resource not found in model manager: c:/generic/filepath/here.obj
And there is no way, that I am aware of, to relink this model?
Now I am aware that they should be in the Xpression subfolder "models" and I try to follow this as best I can... However, for some reason, the 3D model of a scene has an absolute path regardless of this. While an image looks for the subfolder "/images/filename.png", all 3D models seems to look for the absolute path instead. Now I might be wrong about that one, but that still doesn't mean I can relink a lost 3D model.
The error message refers to "model manager", though I cannot find this "model manager" anywhere, either in the "Display" menu, in the help documentation or any other place. And if you select the 3D model object in the scene, there is no filepath you can select and edit as far as I can see.
