    I get this error when using the xpengine object in an excel macrol on Windows 10. Works fine on Windows 7.

    You need to run excel as admin.

    Can you check in task manager under "Details" with the Elevated column what Excel shows?

    Elevated = No

    UAC Virtualization = Disabled

    Okay, that means Excel is not running as admin; can you try right clicking and run as admin?
