Hoping someone can help me out.

I'm trying to figure out why the inside of this cylinder not texturing all the way around. Perhaps it just lies in the texture size needing to be a specific size/ratio? If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

I've tried numerous different things adjusting the material & object render settings & no matter what I do, it stays half black, half how I want it.

The attached image is an overhead shot of the cylinder.

    Thanks.

I'm not certain about this... but does it need another Scene light?

I've tried numerous lights; adding, adjusting, moving, and it doesn't do anything.

I figure it has to be some type of rendering issue or perhaps the texture not being adjusted/set right.

Is your material an image or did you build the gradient in Xpression? Try editing your material---assuming that it is used nowhere else---on the shader, does changing the texture mapping from default to spherical reflection look more like what you want?
