    New user here to Xpression…

When saving a project, we are getting a simple "An error occurred while saving" error pop up. Is there anything we can do to save our changes (there have been quite a few). Or are we just going to have to kill the software and recreate everything?

Would saving a "package" save the changes? Then we just import that?

Sorry, if these are stupid questions.

    Hi

Try using Save As and use a different name and location

I have tried Save As. Same issue. Also tried Save All.

This is an ESPN project that we have open... if that tells you anything.

    Austin,

How much memory is XPression using? What version of XPression are you running??

Using version Studio v9.5 build 5010. The memory shows 0% (top) and 23% (bottom).

Do you get this error if you try saving the project onto your desktop??

If you have a look where the original project file is located, do you have a file with a .~xpf with the same file name, and does it have a recent time stamp? It maybe it is auto saving in the background and you could use that file. Make a copy of this file and then try running up a second instance of XPression (it will moan about hardware buffers, but ignore that) and load it in.
