Is there an easy way to get a Stagger Animation object to adhere to the Auto Squeeze parameters?  I set up an Auto Squeeze text object, which publishes fine with other animations, but as soon as I use a Stagger Animation, the Auto Squeeze no longer applies correctly and the text is typing itself (oddly while still squeezing) off the screen by changing the width of the text box.

In Xpression 9.5, I've used a Stagger Animation on a text object that was set to Auto Squeeze (horizontal only.) Does your Stagger Animation behave the way you expect without Auto Squeeze? 

The SA trigger correctly, but it's the auto squeeze template part that doesn't work right.  When I enter text, instead of autosqueezing in place, it autosqueezes while running off the side of the page.

I recently added a quad to a lower third and, in Visual Logic, used its visibility to shift the x-pivot of several left-justified text objects that have "type-on" stagger animations. Well, when the text object hits the auto squeeze limit, my text starts shifting to the left. My original lower third doesn't have to problem, so something I changed is the key. In building the Visual Logic, I probably unchecked the "lock position" checkbox in the pivot section of the transform tab. I'm not in front of my machine, but it strikes me that this might be my problem. I wonder if stagger animations with an x-position component might actually accomplish this by changing the x-pivot.

Interesting. Do you have a shot of the VL menu of what you did? My auto squeeze is scaled for width only and the text field’s pivot is centered.

What about your "lock position" checkbox? I was hoping that was my problem, but I won't be able to confirm till late.
