  • 1.  Bar length control on animated lower third using Visual Logic

    I have a client that has a lower third animation with 2 bars for text, and another generic bar below that all animate on and off differently, but they'd like the length of all the bars to auto-size based on the length of the text, which is all right justified. I know how to create visual logic strings with still files and masks to control left-justified text, but I am not sure how to approach getting that all done with animated files that will also require keyframing of the text to properly to come on and off along with the animated bars. I hope that makes sense, and if anyone out there has ideas or experience with creating something like this, I'd love the feedback.

    It takes a bit of work with visual logic or script as you must calculate the delta. Have you ever done anything like that before, I may be able to find you a scene that will get you started.
