    Hi Ross People,

    In the latest Tech Talk the XPression Video Codec 2 was mentioned and demonstrated. However in a newer build of XPression than was demonstrated I only see the regular XPression Video Codec. Is the new codec only included in the 64-bit editions (we still use the 32-but editions)?

    The XPVC2 codec is only in the 10.5 release branch of XPression. The XPVC2 codec has not been added to the 10.7 beta branch of XPression yet - that will happen in the coming weeks. 

    The XPVC2 codec is supported in both 32bit and 64bit versions of XPression.

    Hi Garner,

    Thanks for your response. I assumed XPVC2 would already be in 10.7 since I thought that version would be newer than 10.5, but I assumed wrong. We will be patient than ;-). Good to know it will also be available for 32-bit as well.
