I have been using an AJA Corvid 44 BNC (3G-SDI) on my 2 systems and an AJA IOX3 on a mobile system without issue. I suspect the Corvid 88 would be just as reliable.

Sorry I thought that was implied, yes we are still using the DSX LE4.

I think we use the LP / FH depending on the size of the system, 1RU, 2RU, 4RU.

Hi Simon
Which card at the moment?
This post is already over 3 years old :-)
And which version of DSX LE4, if still that card?
Thx
Best,
Markus

Not sure about any quirks but I can tell you that we used to ship with the Corvid88. We currently ship with the DSX LE4. I would probably go with one of those 2 as they are the most tested by Ross.

Hey everyone,
Looking to upgrade several XPressions over the course of the next few months and was wondering if anyone knows of any quirks or issues with any of the supported cards.
Specifically we are looking to update the XMIO2 cards we have to gain a 3rd output (alongside replacing some of our oldest CPU/GPU hardware). We are debating between:
DSX LE4 - 8 Bidirectional to be used 6-out 2-in
AJA Corvid88 j- 8 Bidirectional same use
Bluefish444 Kronos8 - 8 Bidirectional
Blackmagic Quad2 - 8 Bidirectional (trying to avoid this because have had issues with this before)
Any specific quirks anyone has experienced with any of these setups that we should avoid? (High CPU/GPU/Transfer on video playback, dropped frames, etc)
Thanks,
Nick
