  • 1.  Event Markers - what are they?

    Posted 09-07-2012 13:34
    Hey there

    Can anyone tell me where I can find an explanation of what an Event Marker is? Didn't find a word about it in the Xpression Guide, in the help file or on this forum. Please don't just tell me «it markes an event», thanks beforehand.

    Best regards

    Hi Haegy,

    XPression event markers are used to trigger actions (Events) when they enter (On Show) or leave (On Hide) the viewable space of a scene.

    At this time they can support three different types of events:

    - Pause the scene director

    - Start the scene director

    - Run Scripts

    The pause and start modes are also able to dictate change in speed, inertia, and the length of the action.

    Scripts can also be run from an event marker, opening the door to a great deal of opportunity for triggered actions.

    Let us know if you need more details!

    on Script Editor window. In onshow or onHide.we can ingest some comman like

    Dim xpTool As New xpToolsLib.xpTools

    imgPreview.Image = Microsoft.VisualBasic.Compatibility.VB6.Support.IPictureToImage(xpTool.ImageToPicture(_Engine.ResultPage.PreviewImage))

    The _Engine.ResultPage.PreviewImage returns a xpImage from project internal object.

    show me what document contain this comman

    Thanks !
