  • 1.  Video Material thumbnails in Xpression Studio v8.0

    Hello, 

    I'm trying to create thumbnails for some lower thirds I'm working with in Xpression v8.0. I'm using a video file as the material....frame 0 of the videos is blank as the video animates in from the left. I can't seem to figure out how to set the default frame marker within the scene director. 

    I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this and wouldnt mind walking me through it.

    I tried this on my Xpression 10. Regardless of whether you have autoplay set or not, scrub to the position you want and click anywhere on the timeline that is empty (no animation controller or other element) so that nothing is selected in the scene director. Then along the top of the Scene director timeline right click and a dialog box for markers will appear.

    Also if you meant thumbnails in the material manager that can be done in the material here.

    See Preview Frame "30" just change that to whatever you want.
